Engr. S.A Ashaolu is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of …. He later went to the Queen Mary college University, London and bagged a diploma in Petroleum planning and economics. Prior to this, he had several exposures and training in the United States, United Kingdom, Asia and Nigeria. He represented NNPC/NIGERIA at the OPEC steering committee from 1977to 1985, looking after the OPEC crude oil pricing models, world refinery, ports, tankers, pipelines and oil reserves. He was made the chairman of his committee in OPEC between 1979/1981 as Iran rejected Arab chairmanship. He worked at DPR, NNPC, Ministry of petroleum resources and Shell. He is a fellow of several institutions including the Nigerian institute of public administrators, the Nigerian institute of Chemical engineers and a member of the Energy institute of the UK. He has a very enviable travel list of over 40 countries around Africa, Europe, United Stated, Africa, Middle East/Asia and
